Merlot is a dark garnet red wine, riped, well-rounded, and fruity. Tannins are velvety and delightfully smooth. This wine pairs well with white meats, poultry, barbecues, and a range of cheeses thanks to its lengthy finish. In the glass, it has a rich granite color with a garnet-red tinge.
