Efe Göbek Raki is a high quality spirit made entirely from fresh grape distillate called "Suma". During distillation, only the liquid from the third part, the so-called 'Göbek' (Turkish for 'belly'), is separated and used. No sugar is added during the production of raki and it is left to age for at least 120 days.
It has a strong aniseed aroma and freshness imparted by the grapes, and the aftertaste is soft and smooth.
